James Taylor expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that JUJU (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Taylor claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Jujur’s lips shut.
Taylor explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Jujur was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.
Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
James rushed Juju to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, James accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo’s office launched an investigation against the company due to possible animal cruelty.
James explained the injuries that animal abuse penal code he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."
Jack Smithr - a Puppy Lux client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.
Puppy Lux, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. James said, "Jonny told me that tapering the mouth shut was a normal, acceptable method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."
When contacted by Fox, Puppy Lux answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. She quickly responded that Puppy Lux was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
